Come and play with clay!
Fun, no experience necessary, open to all levels.
Sign up for this 6-week class and learn to make hand built pottery and ceramic sculpture using various techniques such as: pinch, coil and slab construction. This ancient technique requires no special equipment, just your hands and your imagination. Small class size and special attention to your interests. This class is for adults with an interest in working with clay. Classes meet once a week for 2.5 hours and run for 6 weeks.

Our main focus will be on handbuilding lamps. A demonstration on how to plan for and build lamps. There is also an open studio component if you would like to use the time to work independently on a project or multiple projects of your choice, I am happy to help you. This workshop comes with 25 lbs. of clay, instruction and firing.

Our main focus will be on handbuilding for the garden with traditional terracotta clay. A demonstration on making planters and building a totem. There is also an open studio component if you would like to use the time to work independently on a project or multiple projects of your choice, I am happy to help you. This workshop comes with 25 lbs. of clay, instruction and bisque firing.

Barbara started her artistic career as an illustrator and web designer and has worked for some of the world's most prominent companies and publishers. She has always been inspired by the physical and visual world of animals and nature and has discovered sculpture as the perfect medium to express her vision. Barbara lives and works along the Delaware River in Northeastern Pennsylvania with her husband, landscape artist Peter Fiore, and their dog Bebe.
